2. Information on the ordering process

The following explains the steps you can take to place an order in the Schulze Heimtierbedarf GmbH end consumer online shop on the "portapet.de" website.


a. Shopping basket / order overview

Select the products you wish to order by clicking on the ‘Add to shopping basket’ button. This places your selection in the shopping basket. You can change this selection at any time until you send your order by changing the number of products or adding further products by entering the article number. You can remove a product or all products from the shopping basket by clicking on the ‘X’ button. Clicking on the ‘Checkout’ button will take you to the next order step.


b. Authentication

 You can now log in with your e-mail address and password if you already have a customer account or register to create a user account.


c. Enter the shipping address

You can now enter the details for the shipping and billing address. If you have already entered an address in the past, this step will be skipped. If you want to change the shipping and billing address, you can do this again in the next step.


 d. Shipping method & payment method

You can now select your preferred shipping method, select your preferred payment method and pay for your order by entering the relevant payment details. If you have already entered a shipping and payment method in the past, this step will be skipped. If you want to change the shipping and payment method, you can do this again in the next step.

 
e. Checking and finalising the order

You can now check the selected products and the address you have entered one last time. The shipping and billing address can now be changed by clicking on the ‘Edit’ field. The quantity of selected products can still be reduced or increased. This is done via a corresponding selection in the quantity field. Products can be removed from the shopping basket by clicking on the ‘X’ button.

You can finalise the order by clicking on the ‘Order with obligation to pay’ field. After completing the order, you will immediately receive an order confirmation. 

If you wish to correct input errors after completing the order process, simply send us an e-mail to onlineshop@portapet.de. We will then correct the input errors manually if possible.



f. Confirmation after successful order

Once you have successfully placed your order, you will immediately receive an overview of your order by e-mail: This e-mail contains the selected products, shipping method, shipping and billing address and your contact details.

As soon as we have processed your order and the products are on their way to you, you will receive a further e-mail informing you that your order has been completed. The purchase contract for the items you have ordered is concluded with this e-mail. A printout of the invoice is enclosed with your delivery.


3. The available contract languages

Only German is available as the contract language.


4. information about the storage of the contract text

The contract text is saved by the seller in digital form for the purpose of processing the contract and stored for 3 years. The text of the contract will also be sent to the customer by e-mail immediately after conclusion of the contract, including all contractual terms and conditions. The customer can retrieve the text of the contract here as long as the customer has saved this e-mail in their inbox. If the customer requires the text of the contract after he has already deleted the e-mail, the customer can request the text of the contract within 3 years of the conclusion of the contract at onlineshop@portapet.de. The provider will then send the text of the contract to the customer again.

8. Existing delivery restrictions and specific delivery times

The regular delivery time within Germany is 1-3 working days. Delivery to other countries may take longer, depending on the delivery address. 

Bulky items and pallets are usually sent by a forwarding agent. Delivery times and postage costs may vary accordingly.

The delivery time may vary depending on the payment method, shipping method and public holidays.
