2. Information regarding the Order Process

The following section explains which steps are necessary to place an order on https://portapet.de/.

 

a. Shopping Basket / Order Summary

Select the products you would like to order by clicking the "Add to basket" button. This will place your selection in the shopping basket. You can change this selection at any time until you submit your order by changing the number of products or adding more products by entering the item number. You can remove a product or all products from the shopping basket by clicking on the "X" button. Clicking on the "Checkout" button will take you to the next ordering step.

 

b. Authentication

If you already have a customer account, you can now log in with your email address and password. Otherwise, you can register to create a customer account.

 

c. Provision of Shipping Address

You may now enter the information regarding the shipping and invoice address. If you have already provided an address in the past, this step will be skipped. If you would like to change your shipping and invoice address, you will be given another opportunity to do so in the next step.

 

d. Shipping & Payment Method

Now you can choose your preferred shipping method, select your preferred payment method and pay for your order by entering the respective payment data. If you have already entered a shipping and payment method in the past, this step will be skipped. If you want to change the shipping and payment method, you can do this again in the next step.

 

e. Review and Completion of the Order

 

Now you can check the selected products and the address you entered one last time. The shipping and billing address can now still be changed by clicking on the "Edit" field. The quantity of selected products can still be reduced or increased. This is done by making a corresponding selection in the quantity field. By clicking on the "X" button, products can be removed from the shopping basket.

 

By clicking on the field "Order subject to payment" you complete the order. After completing the order, you will immediately receive an order confirmation.

 

If you wish to correct input errors after completing the order process, simply send us an e-mail to info@portapet.de. We will then correct the input errors manually if possible.

 

f. Confirmation following Successful Order

After successfully placing your order, you will immediately receive an overview of your order by e-mail: This e-mail contains the selected products, shipping method, shipping and billing address and your contact details. 

 

As soon as we have processed your order and the products are on their way to you, you will receive another e-mail informing you that your order has been completed. With this e-mail, the purchase contract for the items you have ordered comes into effect. A printout of the invoice will be enclosed with your delivery.

 

3. Available Contract Languages

The available contract language is English.

 

4. Information regarding Storage of the Contract Text

For the purpose of performing the contract, the seller will store the contract text in electronic form and keep it for 3 years. Furthermore, the customer will receive the contract text immediately after the conclusion of the contract via email including all terms and conditions. This enables the customer to access the contract text as long as the email is stored in the customer's inbox. Should the customer need the contract text after the email was deleted from the inbox, the customer may request a copy of the contract text from info@portapet.de within 3 years from the conclusion of the contract. The provider will then send another copy of the contract text to the customer.

 

5. Available Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available:

- Immediate transfer via Klarna (SOFORT Überweisung)

- Cash before delivery

- Direct debit

- Invoice

 

6. Information regarding your Statutory Warranty Rights

The statutory claims for defects shall apply without restriction.

8. Applicable Delivery Restrictions and Specific Delivery Times

The regular delivery time within Germany is 1-3 working days. Delivery to another country may take more time depending on the delivery address.

 

Bulky items and pallets are usually shipped by a freight forwarder. Here, delivery time and postage costs may vary accordingly.

 

Depending on the payment method, shipping method and due to public holidays, the delivery time may vary.
